Darker Hue Studios

Scoring a critical hit for diversity by creating a more inclusive world of geekdom one game at a time.

Darker Hue Studios is an independent company aimed at increasing the level of diversity in gaming and geekdom through building community, developing new material, and promoting inclusion within the existing gaming industry.

Here is a small taste of the amazing work of Darker Hue Studios' Chief Artist Officer Nino Malong, including a sneak peek at an upcoming DHS project. Nino is a longtime Washingtonian resident since 1976. He started drawing at an early age influenced by comic artists such as John Buscema, Walt Simonson, Paul Smith and John Byrne. Later Nino became heavily influenced by artists such as Frank Frazetta, Jean "Moebius" Giraud, and Milo Manara. He received his BFA from George Washington University.  Nino's first job in comics was inking a story for Dreaming City Tales #2. He appeared in Artists' Alley at this year's Awesome Con in Washington DC.
